Tips To Staying Happy

Life is sometimes great and sometimes not so great, so today i thought i would do something for you who view my blog and give you some tips into being happy. And yes of course some things happen to people which are sad, and life can be difficult for some people, people will come and in and out of your life, and bad things will happen but it will get better. It's important to be positive and try to cope with it, with all the support from friends and family, it is not impossible! I know its hard and easier said then done, but trust me it works! Its also important that you keep the attitude that things will better and this pain or suffering isn't going to be all the time!

When your life gets turned upside down due to whatever reason. you lose that motivation to do anything, because everything seems worthless, and no one can tell you any different because that's the frame of mind that's is permanently there. What i would say when your going to through this frame of mind, don't give up because there are friends and family who love and care about you, and there will be light at the end of tunnel!

If you stick tho these tips it should get better, and whoever is going through this at the moment! It will get better! I promise!

Tip 1: Listen to your favorite song, that brings back good memories

Tip 2: Keep on talking to your friends and family, Do something you enjoy with them, if thats going shopping, or just hanging out.

Tip 3: Treat yourself! When you are feeling down, this can be a really good pick me up and everyone needs to treat themselves now and again!

Tip 4: Pamper yourself, a bath with LOADS of bubbles can be perfect way of relaxing and gathering your thoughts by having some 'me' time

Tip 5: Get your friends rounnd buy all your favorite food, and have a movie night! Or on your own what ever you feel like!

~Hope this has helped<3~

Skincare and Beauty Haul

Today i went into town so i thought i would share what i picked up, in this haul there are skincare, beauty and some random purchases also! When i ever go into town i always write a list so i get what i need and don't forget anything, i think this is a great way to save money and get exactly what you came into town for!

So the first thing i got was two Garnier products because i really needed a new face wash, and also iv had these face washes before and i highly recommend them, because they do the job and are super cheap also! The First Garnier product is a 'Pure Active- Anti spot exfoliating scrub' i wanted to get something that would feel like its really getting into my skin, and cleaning it thoroughly and this product seemed to live up to these wishes. The second Garnier product is a 'Anti- imperfection cleansing gel' this i have had before and i really loved because it smells nice and feels nice on my skin. Both of these products are good for people like me, who have oily and imperfection prone skin!
Where to get 'Garnier Pure Active Cleansing Gel
I'm sorry but i couldn't find this Scrub on the super drug website, but if you click the top link, there are many different products you can browse.

The Second thing i got was a moisturizer, because i have had really dry skin recently and i wasn't sure which moisturizer to get, so my friend recommended 'Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula' which claims to Soften, Smoothe and Relieves Dry Skin, this moisturizer also has vitamin E in it, And also it claims to smoothes marks and tone the skin. Its two early to give a proper review on these moisturizer, but so far so good! And also smells lush!
When i do a Review on this i will make sure to post a link so you know where to purchase it!
The third thing i picked up was a Rimmel Product, there was an offer buy one get on half price, so as my mum was getting one i thought i would to! Its the 'Lasting Finish Colour Rush Intense Colour Balm' There appears to be no color number or name on this, but the color is a nude pink! Iv never had any of these before so i'm excited to try them out!

Time, for the random buys, the first thing i decided to get is a notebook because i love writing lists and i love being organised! And i thought it was time i got a new one! I am also i very forgetful person so this is the best way for me to write all the things that need to be done and then i can tick them off and keep on top of everything! The other reason i wanted to buy a notebook is that i wanted to have somewhere i could record some blog posts ideas, so that i am never stuck for anything to write about!
The second thing i decided to buy is some deep cleansing facial wipes because i like to get rid off all my makeup first before i start my skincare routine at night. I also like having face wipes because its a nice to have them if i just want to feel refreshed!
The third thing i got was some lavender 100% essential oil because recently iv had trouble sleeping, and with these oils you are meant to put 4-6 drops into the bath! The idea is that the lavender relaxes you so you have no trouble sleeping! Hopefully it will work!

Hope you liked this haul!!

Relaxation Routine

So today i thought i would share all the things i do when i want to have a lazy day, or i have nothing planned and i just want to chill at home. These days are great way to restore your body, and if you've had a hectic week the perfect thing to do to relax!

Tip 1: Do all the work in the day which you have lingering, because therefore you are not stressing about it and you have the whole night to chill out and have a quiet night in! Also i like to think of it like a reward for getting all the things you need to do out of the way!

Tip 2: Run and bath, this is the perfect way to get all clean and cosy and ready for a chill in bed! When i run my bath the products which i like to use are Soap and Glory 'Daily Soothe Bath Float' which iv mentioned before, and which i highly recommend anyway! And the other product i like to use is Soap and Glory 'Clean, Girls body wash' to make it a proper bubble bath!

Tip 3: Light some candles, this is the perfect way to set that chilled out mood, the candles i use is a Indian Dalt candle, and the other candle i use is a primark 'Sweet vanilla and coconut'. These candles are the perfect evening smell!

Tip 4: Get all cosy in bed, i normally watch my favorite youtubers, this is a perfect way to destress, you could also get some yummy snacks and watch your favorite chic flick or horror!

Hope this helped and gave you some ideas on how to relax!

Current Moisturizing Skin Routine!

When iv washed my face at night i have to follow up with routine because i have acne scars on my face, which i am (trying) my hardest to get rid of! Because they are not the prettiest thing in the world! and my skin is the thing i am most self conscious off because my skin isn't the greatest skin in the world, which really frustrates me.
My skin also gets very dry so this routine seems to help it to keep hydrated and clear-ish of spots.

The first thing i do is use 'Bio Oil' which is formulated to help people get rid of scars, stretch marks on the body, however i use this oil for my face, because i feel it does the job and is the best thing to tackle my horrid spot scars, its not greasy and it really absorbs into your skin as soon as you apply it, it is quite pricey but it definitely worth every penny, and i would highly recommend it.

The next thing i do is follow with a moisturizing face serum, this is really nice and light, so this adds even more moisture to my skin, as well as the bio oil. This serum is none greasy and is really good if you have dry skin like me.

Then i like to apply a eye gel to my eye area, because i like the way this gel feels on my eyes,  again like the serum its not heavy and very light, so its perfect for the delicate areas of my face. Also i feel like this gel brightens up my eyes, because i do have dark under eye circles, so anything to brighten them up is a bonus!

After iv appiled the eye gel, i follow up with the face cream, which also came in the same box as the eye gel. So they are both 'Anew' products. The cream is also light and non greasy, and also smells really refreshing and lovely!
The last thing i do, to set all my products in on my face is i apply a skin tonic spray, this is from the Liz Earle collection, i really like to use this to set make up as well, because its a really lovely smelling spray and its really light and refreshing! So i feel its doing a world of good for my skin!

So that's my Moisturizing Skin Routine! Hoped this was useful and gave you some ideas for your  own routine!

Summer Makeup Tutorial

So today i am going to talk about what look i like to go for, when the sun is shining and summer is upon us, i am going to go through the kind of techniques i like to use and the type makeup i like to use. I am so sorry i haven't done this sooner, but iv been so busy! I am aware we are not in summer yet, but i'm just going through some ideas of colors to use when the sun is shining!

So the first i do it apply a Face Primer, i think this is a great way to keep your foundation on, also it gives a more even finish, a primer is the perfect way of keeping your makeup on, if you out and about and font have time to re-apply. The Face Primer i use is a MAC Primer and its called 'Prep and Prime- Natural Radiance, and its a really amazing primer, its light when you apply it on the face so it isn't to heavy, and my foundation stays in place so it does an amazing job and i would highly recommend this primer, for anyone who is looking for a light durable primer!

So i apply a little amount of the primer on my face, because the foundation i use adds a lot of radiance anyway so i don't want to make the look look too shiny and greasy, because that is the last thing i want. So i would say i have a 5p kind of size primer the back of my hand here and this how much i add to my face:

So the next thing i do is i blend the primer all of my face using my hand, with the MAC primer it blends really well so you aren't spending ages on your primer, its just a quick easy step! And if you are like me always in a rush its perfect!

Ok, so the next step is concealer, now i have a serious under eye circles and i think that the concealer i use really makes me look more awake, and adds radiance to my eye area, and concealer is a very important step because it makes you look more flawless and alive! When you wear concealer it always makes your complexion looks a lot more even, so this step is a must for me! The concealer i use is the Rimmel 'Match Perfection' in the shade 'Classic Beige' and this concealer is so amazing, it is so light and really opens up your eye area because it as a build in highlighter which is perfect when you want to make somewhere more radiant and less dull , It always works wonders with my Rimmel 'Wake me up' Foundation!

So after i am done applying the concealer all over the parts wheres there's redness, discoloration and blemishes and also my horrible dark circles, i then blend it all together with my MAC 252 Brush which is perfect for concealer because the width of the brush is the perfect size to get around your nose and under your eyes!

So here i'm just blending all the concealer (ignore the unflattering camera angle)

So then the next step is foundation, and of course i will be using my all time favorite foundation the 'Rimmel Wake Me Up' Foundation, which will always the foundation i will keep on reusing again and again, and with the primer and concealer this foundation works a treat! I am using a  'Avon' foundation brush to blend the foundation in.

(me with the Primer, Concealer, Foundation on)

The next step is powder and i like to use for my powder, my MAC Studio Careblend' Powder, this powder is really amazing, because when your out in summer and its warm you don;t want your powder to go anyway, and show any shininess and this powder is perfect for a long duration of time! The powder is also really light and so easy to blend, i use a blusher cosmopolitan brush to blend this together.

(me after applying the powder)

The next step in the make process is filling in my eyebrows, and i'm going to use a dark brown color from my 'Sleek Palette, sleek is a amazing brand of makeup, there palette are amazing and last forever! so definitely worth the money! And to apply the shadow i use a 'Avon' small angled brush, i find when i apply my eyebrows with out my pencil an angled brush is always 10x easier to work with!

Then the next step in the makeup process is eyes shadow, i like to use a shadow for my brows, because i really love the dark brown sleek shadow, i think it makes my brows look really defined, also the sleek range has fantastic pigmentation! And the shadow are very long lasting! So yeah i just apply this with an angled brush and that's my eyebrows done!

The next step is applying my eye primer, i really think an eye primer is the best way of avoiding your eyelids getting oily, and your eye shadow going into the creases of your eyelids and i use the  MAC Paint Pot in the shade 'Soft Ochre' and this was actually the first purchase i ever made in MAC, and it has lasted me FOREVER! This stuff is my favorite primer because its very long lasting and keeps my shadow from creasing! So definitely recommend this Primer!

So to apply this primer with my finger, and it just lightly pat it all over my eyelids, so all the primer is equally spread on my eyelids.

Then the next Step is my eye shadow and the Shadows i am using is the MAC Shadow in 'Vanilla' and 'Expensive Pink' which are colors which really work together as a smoky eye, or just on there own, but in this case i have used them as a smoky eye. The shadows are very pigmented and last a long time, especially with the primer on them because it sets all the shadows so they look even and professional, i use the MAC 217 brush, which a perfect brush to use because it has a big tip, so you can get all over your lid!

I unfortunately don't have a picture for 'Expensive pink' but just in-case you were wondering this is what the eye shadow color looks like:
 http://www.selfridges.com/en/Beauty/Brand-rooms/Brands/MAC/Best-Sellers/Eyeshadow_329-81004873-EYESHADOW/

Then i like to go underneath my brows with the 'Brule' Eye-shadow  just to give them my brows some highlight.

This is what my eyes looked like with all the eye shadows on them, i have used the lighter shade in the inner corners and the darker shade in the outer corners, so it gives my eyes more definition.

Then the next thing i do is apply eyeliner, i normally go for the cat eye winged effect, because i prefer my eyes with lots of eyeliner and a big flick, but if you dont like over powering eyeliner, then this look would still look great with a subtle amount of eyeliner, the eyeliner i use in this makeup tutorial is the Loreal- 'Superliner- Blackbuster' and this i really love, because it has a pen like applicator so its really easy to apply and doesn't smudge either!

Me looking miserable! haha! This is me with the finished eyeliner and eye shadow look!

The next step in Mascara, i always think mascara finishes a look off, i don't think eyes are ever complete without mascara and the one i'm using today is the Avon- 'Spectra Lash' in brown, i have really been loving wearing brown eyeliner and brown mascara, because iv got brown eyes i think it really makes them look even browner and compliments them very well!

The next thing is moisturize my lips with Vaseline before i apply lipstick, because i think it goes on much nicer if your lips are soft to begin with and the lipstick i will be using today is the Mac 'Chatterbox' which is a beautiful pink color which will be perfect for summer!

Then the final thing i like to do is apply some dark powder to my cheek bones to contour, because it always makes your face look more defined and sets your makeup in nicely as-well, the powder i'm using is the Rimmel 'Match Perfection' because this a dark powder but i really like it because its very easy to blend! It is in the shade 'Soft Beige'. I also use the angled brush that i use for powder for this product because its angled so it makes it easier to apply to the cheek bones.
